    Settle in at your comfortable, family friendly 4* Liverpool Marriott City Centre Hotel , which is very conveniently located for visiting all the attractions included in this package, before setting out to enjoy the first highlight of this fun-packed adventure, the world famous, multi-award winning Beatles Story experience. To help ensure you get the most from your visit, a free Living History Audio Guide is available, narrated by John Lennon's sister, Julia, in a choice of 8 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian and Spanish.

    Kids will love the exciting 'hands-on' activities in the Discovery Zone, adults will relish the nostalgic trip down memory lane and the whole family will enjoy the Beatles Story's innovative Fab4D experience, an amazing show where you'll meet all manner of characters as the magic of 4D brings the music of the greatest band of all time to life.

    Then take an amphibious trip around the city with Yellow Duckmarine Tours. The fun begins the second you board your DUCK - an authentic World War II landing vehicle - at the Albert Dock. Your hour long trip begins on the road, taking in the historic waterfront and touring the famous sights of the city, before making a dramatic 'SPLASHDOWN' as you take to the waters of the mighty River Mersey in the Salthouse Dock. With live commentary throughout, it's an amazing dockland adventure and an experience you'll never forget.

    During your stay, be sure to make time to visit the spectacular new Peace and Harmony European Peace Monument, dedicated to John Lennon, celebrating his life, his music and his message of world peace. Unveiled in October 2010, this visually striking monument is located in lovely Chavasse Park, an oasis of calm in the heart of Liverpool’s new multi million pound shopping and leisure development, Liverpool ONE – a great place for the whole family to relax after a spot of retail therapy.

    You can use your ticket for the Mersey Ferry to reach the final highlight of this fun-packed family package which is a visit to Spaceport, an inspirational journey through space with interactive 'hands-on' attractions, where kids will love the Wallace & Gromit in Space exhibition.

    The Beatles Story is open 7 days a week, every day apart from 25/26 December
    1 April to 31 October: 9am to 7pm (last admission 5pm)
    1 November to 31 March: 10am to 6pm (last admission 5pm)

    The Beatles Story's new site is situated at the Pier Head in the new Mersey Ferries Terminal Building. The special exhibitions including Elvis & Us and the Fab4D Experience situated at the Pier Head are included in your combined Beatles story ticket which is valid for 48 hours.

    A shuttle bus is available to take you from Albert Dock to Pier Head, which can also be reached on foot in just ten minutes.

    Yellow Duckmarine tours depart daily all year round from 10.30am or 11.00am. During very quiet times they run every 75 minutes and during busy times every 15 to 30 minutes. You will need to collect your boarding card 15 minutes prior to tour departure time. The tour lasts approximately 55 minutes. Children over 2 years must be paid for and have a boarding card. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. In order to comply with safety legislation, all passengers including children must occupy a seat. Prams and pushchairs cannot be taken on the vehicle but can be looked after them in the ticket office. We can carry children under 2 years by arrangement (free of charge) but they must sit on an adults lap, be booked on to a tour and have a boarding card issued from the booking office. Only 2 babies can be taken on each tour. There isn't any access for wheelchairs but they can be looked after in the ticket office as long as the person is able to get up the steps on the Duck by themselves. There are 6 steep steps to get on and off the vehicle. No food or drink is available or permitted to be taken onto the Duck. There are no toilet facilities on board.
